Joint Chief Executive

Islington and Camden councils have announced proposals to share a single chief executive as a first step towards closer partnership working at the management level between the two boroughs. If the proposals are agreed, Camden chief executive Moira Gibb would take over as chief executive of both boroughs following current Islington chief executive John Foster’s retirement in May 2011. Detailed proposals are due to be considered by both councils’ executive and cabinet before the end of the year.
