Under proposals published , Barnhill has been reduced from 3 ward Councillors to 2 ward Councillors ward. The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) have published their draft warding proposals for the electoral review of the London Borough of Brent. These propose a new pattern of wards (and new names) to accommodate 57 Councillors, and are based on the submissions they received in the first stage of the consultation. They outline how those councillors should represent 13 three-councillor wards and 9 two-councillor wards across the borough.
The full recommendations and detailed interactive maps are available on the Commission’s website at consultation.lgbce.org.uk and www.lgbce.org.uk .
The LGBCE is now asking for comments on these proposals in order to obtain as much evidence as possible to develop their final recommendations for Brent.
