How sad it is only 24 hrs before I had a meeting on the subject with the council, the accident, I am producing pictures below, has happened. Our thoughts are with the 12 years old boy and his parents for a speedy recovery. I found council officers were fully aware of this dangerous spot. Proposals for calming down traffic in the area, as I have been told, are well in advance stage. I am told these proposal will soon be put to local residents and Residents Associations for comments or suggestions. How sad it is only 24 hrs later a serious accident has happened at the same location which was pointed in the meeting.
