Jubilee Line Screeching noise causing discomfort to Barn Hill Residents

I am happy to report about screeching a problem I thought I resolved last year. Sadly not, that I had to write again to Tfl for answers. I am glad to say I am producing below their responses:

"Thank you for your patience while we investigated your further comments.

Further discussions have been held today and following the most recent noise readings taken from properties in the vicinity of the Jubilee line have confirmed that, as residents are aware, the works undertaken in early September have unfortunately failed to address the noise issues. We are sorry that this was unsuccessful and that residents are continuing to be disturbed.

As a next step, we will trial a speed reduction on the Night Tube along this stretch of track. The date for the trial has not yet been finalized as some scheduling will need to take place but this will be done by the end of November, and further measurements taken to assess the effectiveness of reducing train speeds.  We will then look at the outcomes of the trial to determine next steps.

I’m sorry that this is taking time to resolve, but please be assured that this is being taken very seriously and we are keen to seek a solution that works for everyone."
