Burglaries and Cars erratic movements in Barn hill Ward

Chair of Barn Hill Resident Association complained and expressed  his concerns regarding erratic movements of some cars and burglaries on the Barn Hill as appeared on local  "next door". Local police was contacted immediately and I am glad to say a reply now has been received which is below:?

Cllr Choudhary/Mr Chairman

Thank you for your email. As a ward team we have been made aware of residents’ concerns over vehicles being seen on the Chalkhill estate and other parts of the ward that have given cause for concern. On each occasion we include this into our patrol plan to
·       Deter such behaviour
·       Obtain evidence/intelligence regarding potential offences
·       Identify those involved and deal accordingly
Particularly now we are in the winter months with extended periods of darkness we will be continuing this work to reassure the residents.
As for the burglary you have highlighted, we are aware of this and all burglaries receive attention from the ward team to help the victim but also looking to prevent further offences in the area.

Regards
