Brent Council’s Gender Equality Network are organizing a free event, open to everyone, to celebrate International Women’s Day 2020.
The event will include:
Key note speakers Baroness Lola Young and Nabila Mallick, who have high-profile experience in the areas of law, immigration, politics, campaigning, ethics leadership and education
Date: Tuesday 10 March 2020
Time: Registration, stalls and networking from 10am. The event will start at 10.30am.
Location: Brent Civic Centre – Grand Hall, Level 1

The venue is accessible, including lift access. Brent Civic Centre also has a Changing Places toilet, including an electronic hoist, on the ground floor - a key is available from reception.
Light refreshments will be provided around 1.30pm for those who have registered in advance. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.

We will be running the Dress for Success and Suited and Booted campaigns, where you can donate your suits to people looking for employment in Brent.
We will also be running a raffle on the day, with fantastic prizes, to raise money for the ‘Bloody Good Period’ whose mission is to provide period products to those who need them, but can’t afford them. Please find further details in the attached document.
