High Pressure Water Jetting and survey works between Kingsbury and Wembley Park station

I am writing to let you know that we will be carrying out High Pressure Water Jetting and surveys of track drains between Kingsbury and Wembley Park station from 5 March to 19 March 2020. Keeping these drainage channels clear will reduce the chances of bad weather causing signal and failures and associated delays to customers.

To be carried out safely these works can only be undertaken overnight, between the hours of 11pm and 5am, when trains are not running.

Our contractors will be using lorry mounted high pressure water jets and vacuums for the water jetting. The lorry will be located in station carparks or on roads around the site. Fuel generators will be used to power lighting and tools for the works. To avoid unnecessary disturbance, we will be using the quietest equipment available and will complete works as quickly and safely as possible.

I have attached a letter that will be distributed to residents and businesses neighbouring the stretches of track where the work will take place at the beginning of next week.
