South Way and Wembley Hill Road - Works

I have been informed “

Affinity Water need to undertake some essential works on South Way this weekend, they need to cross connect the two large water mains to provide network resilience in future.

Unfortunately, to complete these works South Way will need to be closed near the junction of Wembley Boulevard on Saturday 30^th May until Monday 1^st June, it is possible that the works will be complete by Sunday evening.

A signed diversion will be in place at all times.

Vodafone also need to undertake works on Wembley Hill Road at the junction of South Way, they need to install some duct across Wembley Hill Road.

To safely complete these works the existing permanent signals will need to be switched off and replaced with a set of three way temporary traffic lights. These works will be complete during off peak hours (09:30-15:30) and will commence on 1^st June and will be complete on 3^rd June.
