It is costly to plant a tree especially when it is a Japanese cherry tree. The cost includes months and months convincing arguments, looking for the budget and then proper gardener and monitoring tree growing up progress. The council, Barnhill Residents Association and myself, we all were involved in this project. Under the circumstances would anybody can imagine my disappointment when I saw this healthy tree on the floor this morning. No doubt I was gutted.
