UEFA -Euro 2021

If Fryent Way is going to be used as a Coach Parking station, then it is imperative a fixed route for couch passengers be marked and signposted. Normally spectators by cutting short take Barnhill roads and paths to reach their parked coaches. It was observed during the last UEFA-2021 cup while walking back to their coaches, the spectators turn the whole area into toilets, urination without consideration, dropping rubbish and pick up arguments with residents.

Provision of adequate Toilets and washing up facilities throughout Barnhill Area, Fryent park.

On match days during the UEFA Euro 2021 tournament, coach parking may become a problem depending on the situation.

In Wembley the Pink car park on South Way normally use as a coach park, it is proposed to be used as a media centre for the entire tournament so no coaches will be able to park. Due to the UEFA requirement, the coaches should park within the walking distance of Wembley Stadium. So certain changes as suggested below are the possibilities.

As coach parking requires opposing teams to be segregated so at least two locations need to be found. Here the suggested parking stations:

·        Fryent Way – This location has been used previously for Champions League fixtures, Fryent Way will need to be closed to through traffic in both directions.

·        Brentfield and Hillside - including the Unisys Building site at the junction of Brentfield and the North Circular Road.

·        Beresford Avenue - St Georges site (Northfields Development) – Coaches would park in the car park.

·        Atlas Road & Hannah Close – Coaches would park along the northern kerb line and a directional road closure preventing vehicles turning into Hannah Close from Great Central Way, traffic would be diverted along Great Central Way, right on to Fourth Way and right into Atlas Road. This option does not isolate businesses on the road.

·        Harrow Road – Wembley Triangle to Victoria Avenue – Coaches would park in the bus lanes.

I agree with the suggestions provided:
