A question was raised recently with Chair of Barn Hill Residents Association. I am reproducing question and an answer from Brent Council.
Question.
“A resident has informed me that Brent Council are phasing out paper permits for Wembley Event Days.I would be grateful if you could confirm if this change is for new car registrations only and not for people like myself who have a paper permit since the beginning of this scheme.

The BHRA worked very closely with Brent Council in setting up the Event Day scheme and we were assured that the paper permit would last for the life of the “
Answer received.
Yes, it is a requirement for new cars only.
In addition we are offering to paper permit holders the opportunity to exchange their old permit for a new virtual permit at no cost until the new year. This will save residents from the risk of a PCN for forgetting to display the paper permit.
Please take action before it is too late.
