Winter Service - Gritting Update.

Council officers check the forecast 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and have been doing so since the Winter Service commenced on 1 November. With all five of the gritters fully serviced, 326 grit bins on street and filled with salt, and a full salt barn, the council is ready for any cold snap forecast to hit Brent. On the latest five day information from our bespoke Brent forecaster, road surface temperatures are expected to be above freezing and no problems are anticipated.
