20 mile speed limit in Barnhill - Work in progress

 The work to lay humps in the Barnhill area, in Barnhill ward has started and will be completed at the end of this weekend. This has been done on persistent complaints and near misses.  Barnhill roads are used a short cut and to avoid early morning and evening traffic at forty Lane and the Avenue. Best solution figured out 20miles speed with humps in place. BHRA and I worked endlessly with police and council to overcome speed horrendous with tiny limited success.  It was done to make Barnhill Road save and to avoid roads becoming racing track.
