One of the Barnhill residents forwarded me her report that I am copying below for your information. Please note these works carried out recently including flying tipping clearance.
Afternoon Shafique,
I trust you and yours are keeping well.
Took my morning walk around the Barn Hill area today and noticed various things which have been done, things outstanding and things that have been damaged.
i.Double yellow lines have been painted on the corners of Beverley Gardens (both parts) and West Hill (both parts).
Similarly Wykeham Hill junction with Uxendon Hill now has double yellow lines and metal bollards on each corner.
Fresh double yellow lines have been painted opposite the junction of West Hill and The Avenue.
The pavement on Charlton Road has been relaid with tarmac and the two pavers have been returnd to their original positions ie flat
ii.The Beverley Gardens speed hump between Nos. 24 and 31 has yet to be painted.
At the junction of Wykeham Hill with Uxendon Hill the pothole has yet be repaired.
iii. On Wykeham Hill junction with Uxendon Hill, a new metal bollard on one of the corners has been knocked sideways (by a large vehicle?) and the newly laid bricks have lifted causing a safety hazard.
Best wishes,
Anne Bovett
